Our Obligations


In order to carry out our duties effectively and in accordance with the General Medical Council (Licence to Practise and Revalidation) Regulations 2012, all of our connections would be required to commit to the following:

1. To complete all or most of your clinical work in the United Kingdom through Direct Medics;

2. To complete an annual appraisal with an appraiser approved under the Regulations & submit all relevant documents to Direct Medics immediately following appraisal;

3. To obtain peer and patient feedback at least once every five years and submit all relevant documents to Direct Medics immediately following receipt;

4. To inform Direct Medics of all job roles undertaken irrespective of location & employer;

5. To engage fully in any investigation by the Responsible Officer into areas of concern;

6. To provide a contact name for each employer prior to departure from each role, to allow an exit report to be requested.
